This was our first collaboration with the Hello Wood team where we gained plenty of instructive experience. The Gübecs, created in the art camp, demonstrates well the main features of Depó that are experimental use of materials and courageous pairing of technologies.

The result, reflecting well the dynamics of design, technology and material use, was a large-scaled body made of foam concrete hollowed with the help of inflatable balloons. The organic concrete object contains exciting inner shapes, textures, and see-through holes and a slender geometric timber frame makes the block complete.

DEPÓ is a sequence of workshops initiated by S39 for university students to study the material of concrete and to create objects, and art pieces of it.
