dinamikus fényinstalláció | Künstlerhaus, Dortmund 2009
The light installation reflecting on the history of its space calls up the flickering light display of the miner refulgence and the impact of the hard and exhausting work. The phenomena of fatigue and amortization are inherent both in the living and the digital world we created. The installation is meant to demonstrate this with electronic devices placed in plastic objects. In the beginning these lighting elements have the same conditions, however after a while they start functioning differently due to their manual production. The different velocity of amortization leads to the appearance of a visual noise on the initially homogeneous surface. By the end of the one month exhibition this visual noise forms the schematic figure of a mine shaft.
